Great changes in China a miracle: Jiang

Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Sunday hailed the remarkable changes that have taken place in China as " a historic miracle".
Jiang was speaking at a grand gathering at the Great Hall of the People marking the 80th founding anniversary of the CPC.
The CPC now has a membership of over 64 million, and the Chinese people are living in their prosperous socialist motherland, Jiang said.
