The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most prosperous regions in China and also an important chemical production base and domestic consumer market. Locates in the northwest of this region, Nanjing Chemical Industry Park (NCIP) acts as the head of the petrochemical industry along the Yangtze River on the strength of its advantageous regional conditions, developed industrial foundation and abundant technical talent resources.

NCIP enjoys abundant water resources, excellent natural conditions and convenient transportation. The Park is connected to Nanjing-Luhe and Yongzhuang-Luhe expressways in the north, faces Jinling Petrochemical Corporation across the river in the south, and borders on Nanjing Chemical Industrial Corporation to the west and Yizheng Chemical Fiber Corporation to the east. Connected by a modern highway network and pipeline network, a chemical industry belt with a total 100km2 along the Yangtze River integrating petroleum and chemical industry will be formed.

The planned area of NCIP is 45km2, among which 10 km2 account for Yangzi Petrochemical Corporation and BASF-YPC Co.Ltd. NCIP casts its development emphases on petroleum and natural gas chemical industry, organic chemical raw materials, fine chemicals and chemical logistics.

There are powerful chemical engineering entities around the Park, including over 40 chemical engineering research institutes, over 50 chemical engineering design institutes and chemical manufacturers, which can provide a complete range of perfect services for the enterprises in the Park in terms of design, installation and construction of large scale of petrochemical plants.

Preferential policies will be granted for enterprises in the Park according to relevant regulations of the State. Also, more preferential treatment and supporting will be given to specified enterprise considering its technical level, investment scale and market prospects.
