Nanjing Jiangning Economic & Technical Development Zone is located in the south of Nanjing , the central city in East China.  Its blue print has formed with high standard, strict requirement and excellent design.  In the central part, with the airport expressway as the axis, the high tech industrial development zone is formed; in the east part, with Qinhuai River as the axis, the wetland zone for ecological environment protection has been formed in Moling; in the west part, with the axis from Niushou hill, Zutang hill to Guli Golf Heights, the Niushou Zutang Scenic Spot tourist development zone is formed.  The public &production service area, high tech industrial area, high education scientific research area and ecological area of holiday resort will be embedded among the three development axes, so as to build the ecological and high tech new city and the knowledge innovation base of Jiangsu.

The following five pillar industries have already been formed in the Development Zone:

l       Electronic information industry; Ericsson, Siemens and Toppoly

l       Automobile and automobile parts industry; Fiat,Morita

l       Food industry; Pepsicola, General Mills, Boom-Boom

l       New building materials industry; TOTO, Lafarge

l       Education and scientific research industry; Southeast University, Jiangsu branch school of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Jiangning branch school of Hohai University
