Fishermen rescued after boat sinks in Bohai Sea
( 2003-10-23 21:23) (Xinhua)

Six fishermen have been rescued from a sinking boat in the sea area of Rongcheng City, east China's Shandong Province, on Thursday morning.
The "Liaochangyu 6520" boat, registered in Liaoning Province in northeast China, was submerged by rough seas and strong wind at 10: 40 a.m. Thursday while sailing 15 sea miles off Chengshantou harbor. All six fishermen fell into the sea.
The Yantai Maritime Safety Administration quickly mobilized ships to the site of the accident to search for the missing fishermen and issued navigation warnings via radio programs to ask passing ships to give a helping hand in the search.
Three ships passing by and several local boats were sent to the spot immediately. After one and a half hours, the six people were rescued successfully.
