Spaceman's son seeks father's feat ( 2003-10-22 14:15) (China Daily)
Yang Ningkang, son of China's first spaceman Yang Liwei, received a present after returning to his school on Monday - his class was honoured as an "Astronautics Squadron", Beijing Evening News reports. Yang is in Class Four, Grade Three at the First Primary School of Zhongguancun in Beijing. The little boy said he would like to fly into space to look at the moon and stars like his father when he grows up. "Today I'm proud of my father and tomorrow I will become the pride of my father," Yang said. In addition to Yang, 87 other students whose parents work in the Astronautics City attend the First Primary School of Zhongguancun. |
