Workers from the Beijing gardening bureau
decorate Tian'anmen Square with flowerbeds for the National Day holiday
which runs from October 1 to 7. The landscaping project, first initiated
in 1985, is almost complete. Floral replicas of many famous Chinese
landscapes and monuments, like the Three Gorges Dam and the Great Wall,
have appeared in the square.
