Water is a wonderful resource that can be used to delight people in so many ways.

Now Beijingers who visit Chaoyang Park on the evenings between September 19 and October 4 will have the chance to see an amazing water show produced by French Aquatique Show on the banks of the lake.

The French company Aquatique Show International, a leading manufacturer of waters theatres, has created new technology in which dancing fountains, video projections on water screens and laser effects synchronized with music and light are presented to the viewers.

"The technical prowess of these water shows has made Aquatique Show famous the world over and never fails to impress spectators,'' said Yan Xiaoxuan, promotion manager with Polk Culture Co Ltd, which is bringing the show to Beijing.

The 80-minute-long show will be at the bank of the lake inside Chaoyang Park, covering an area of 120 metres long and 80 metres wide.

The musical fountains rise up to 110 metres, the highest one of which is in the Guinness Book of Records.

A 15-metre-high translucent water screen, which is produced by a submerged system, is installed on the bank of the lake.

Under the title of "Magic Tour around the World,'' the water show takes audience to different countries with a presentation of exotic environment.
