Chinese Health Ministry resumes SARS reporting
( 2003-09-19 16:43) (Xinhua)

China's Ministry of Health announced the resumption of its daily reporting on severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) from Friday.

A ministry spokesman said that no new clinically confirmed or suspected SARS cases had been found in the Chinese mainland between 10 a.m. of Sept. 18 and 10 a.m. of Sept. 19.

The resumption of the daily reporting is to meet the request of the people on the latest SARS situation in the Chinese mainland, the spokesman said.
