A man who made off with more than 60 head of cattle in 50 rustling cases in Daoxian, Hunan Province was finally rounded up by police in Pingxiang, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, reports Modern Life.

Liu Shuxue started stealing cattle last July, sometimes with the help of accomplices.

After stabbing a villager during the last theft on March 13, Liu fled to Guangxi to take up migrant work with his uncle.

On Monday, when Pingxiang police visited a construction site to prepare residential documents for the workers, the officers thought Liu seemed evasive.

Police interrogated the man that night, only to discover he was the "Cattle Devil", wanted by police in Hunan's Dao County.
