National real estate forecast system launched
( 2003-07-02 09:59) (Xinhua)

China's national real estate forecast system was officially launched Tuesday in the country's 14 major cities.

The system is expected to offer timely, comprehensive and accurate information on the country's real estate market for relevant departments in a bid to help them timely address problems arising in the country's land market.

The system underwent a trial operation in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, and is now operating there and in Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Harbin, Dalian, Nanjing, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Nanchang, Xiamen, Shenzhen and Chengdu.

The system will cover the country's 35 large and medium cities by the end of this year.
