警方归还遇难者遗物

“7.23”动车追尾事故发生之后，温州警方开始仔细搜索遇难者的遗物和幸存者的随身物品，今天警方透露已经完成大部分物品的寻找工作，遇难者亲属及幸存者将很快可以取回相应物品。

对遇难者遗物的搜寻工作从事故发生的当晚就立即展开，“对幸存者来说，这些物品以后还有用，而对于遇难者的亲属来说，这些是无价的珍贵纪念。”温州火车南站派出所的处长蒋龙彬在接受采访时这样说道。

蒋龙彬本人在搜寻遗物时找到了一个名叫朱平的遇难者的学生证。朱平，一个年仅20岁的温州女孩，生前在中国传媒大学就读，事故发生时她正在从北京回温州老家的路上。

“我当时除了这个学生证，在旁边还找到一些散乱的课本和学习资料。”“我当时一看她的年纪和我女儿差不多，可能比我女儿大个两三岁，就感觉特别亲切。而且从她的书，资料里可以看出朱平肯定是个好学的孩子。”

然而之后却传来了朱平已经遇难的消息，蒋龙彬等人不禁十分失望和伤心。同时执行搜寻工作的人员也成功地找到了朱平的包括单反相机在内的一系列物品，受朱平家人的委托，随后她的同学来取走了这些东西。

另一位29岁名叫陈飞的警官在现场还找到了一个旅行箱，这个旅行箱是相撞列车中其中一辆动车的司机潘一恒的，他在这场事故中也不幸遇难。陈飞告诉记者，他们刚开始搜寻的时候，因为列车被损坏得太严重，所以他们根本无法从车门进入列车，唯一的通道是一道破损的窗户。

“现场惨不忍睹，到处都是血。”陈飞回忆道。“车厢里已经没有一个幸存者了，只有一些水果，荔枝壳之类的东西，我还找到一个粉红色的hello kitty的小包，那应该是个小女孩的。” 蒋龙彬还找到了一些手机，当他捡到的时候，有些还在响。

“我接到过三个这样的电话，都是车上旅客的亲人或者朋友打来的，他们都急切地想知道他们的亲人朋友的情况。”随后蒋龙彬告诉他们拨打医院的电话，以便获得更多的信息。有些手机已经破损了，但是蒋龙彬还是把他们收集了起来，因为他觉得这些手机里可能还保存着一些事发时视频或者图片资料。蒋龙彬和他的队友把他们找到的东西都拍了照，发到了微博上，以此告知幸存者和遇难者亲属，可以到温州南州领取这些物品。

Police search, retrieve items from damaged carriages

Police in Wenzhou are searching for the belongings of those who died after the train crash on July 23, and the southern railway station of Wenzhou has opened a window for survivors and the relatives or friends of the deceased to retrieve belongings.

The police station in the Wenzhou railway station assigned 3 policemen to look for the belongings left in the damaged railway carriages.

While searching through the damaged carriages has been risky, the three policemen, Jiang Longbin, Chen Fei and Ye Meng, said they have done what they can to check every corner.

“We think that the task of finding these items is as important as rescuing people, because these items might be all what the living ones can use to mourn their dead relatives and friends. Maybe inside the cell phones, they can find the last messages the victim sent,” he added.

On the afternoon of July 25, the personal items at the scene of the accident were sent to the railway station. The staff of the railway station said that they had to get every suitcase and bag labeled with a serial number and main articles listed in order to make them easier to be recognized.

Jiang, one of the policeman involved in the search, found a purple certificate in one carriage under a damaged seat. The certificate, which turned out to be a student’s ID card of Communications University of China, belonged to a young student named Zhu Ping.

“The girl is the same age as my daughter,” Jiang said. He collected some of the girl’s other belongings, and when he heard that the girl had died he said he felt very sad. “The luggage I cleaned up for her will not be used anymore, but they are precious to her family.”

Two of Zhu’s classmates went to retrieve the items. Zhou Linsi, one of the classmates, said that a camera, included in the items Jiang found, contains many photos taken by Zhu and that her family can use them to remember her. Jiang said he has had to deal with other similar situations, once after he answered a ringing cell phone left by one of the passengers.

With having collected more than 100 articles, Jiang said he knows these are not the last instances. Passengers or relatives and friends who want to pick up items from the crash should use his or her ID card and provide details about the luggage they want. The staff at the station will look for the luggage based on the information they offer. After verification, the luggage will be returned.
