An exhibition of rare ancient manuscripts of Chinese ethnic groups kicks off in Urumqi, capital of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on July 26, 2016.

This is the second stop of the itinerant exhibition, with the first exhibition in Nanning of Guangxi province in June.

The exhibition aims to display the successfully preserved ancient books of Chinese ethnic groups in the past 30 years.
