For his young trainees, Xie has a very nice studio that covers some 2,200 square meters. The stylish studio even has a traditional Chinese pavilion and garden.

"To encourage my trainees, many are the only child of their family, a good work environment is necessary. I want them to feel that teapot making has a bright future. And also it can't be rushed, good techniques need a long period to acquire," Xie said.

He also bought his trainees' works at a high price to let them have a decent salary and confidence to carry on teapot making.
