Monk who set himself on fire dies

A South Korean Buddhist monk who set himself on fire during a protest against impeached President Park Geun-Hye has died, hospital officials said on Tuesday.

The 64-year-old monk set himself alight on Saturday night in Seoul where hundreds of thousands of people had gathered to rally for the 11th week to demand Park's immediate removal.

He suffered severe burns across his face and body and died on Monday night.
