Chicago acquires Chapman in swap with New York
The Chicago Cubs, in contention for their first World Series title since 1908, addressed one of their few weaknesses by acquiring ace closer Aroldis Chapman from the New York Yankees on Monday.
In exchange, New York picked up versatile starting pitcher Adam Warren, shortstop prospect Gleyber Torres and minor league outfielders Billy McKinney and Rashad Crawford.
