Resilient Raonic vows to rebound in Slam quest

By Reuters in London | China Daily | Updated: 2016-07-12 07:55

Canadian Milos Raonic declared he will stop at nothing to win a major title after admitting his straight sets loss to Andy Murray in Sunday's Wimbledon final would sting.

The 25-year-old had hoped to become Canada's first Grand Slam singles champion, but despite a battling display he made little impression on Murray, losing 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2).

Having previously reached the semifinals at Wimbledon in 2014 and again at this year's Australian Open, where he pushed Murray to five sets, a first major final appearance represents a significant step for the 6-foot-5 Raonic.
