Phoenix Publishing & Media becomes first Chinese publisher to reach 10 billion yuan ($1.6 billion) in terms of both income and assets.
2010- December
Former State-owned publishing institutions reformed into enterprises.
2011-October
At the Sixth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC National Congress, it was decided that delegates should summarize progress of the reform of the cultural industry and plan for the future.
GAPP launched official plan for going global in the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-15).
