Cities reveal their Party delegates, candidates
The municipalities of Shanghai and Chongqing have revealed their delegates or candidates to the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which will be held later this year.
Vice-President Xi Jinping and the newly re-elected Party chief of Shanghai Yu Zhengsheng were among 73 delegates elected to represent Shanghai's Party members, according to an announcement on Tuesday.
In Chongqing, Mayor Huang Qifan and 49 others were elected as the candidates to the southwestern municipality's delegation to the CPC's 18th National Congress, according to another document published on Monday.
