Kumho Tires will recall possibly flawed output

Kumho Tires Co apologized to Chinese consumers for unqualified products on March 21, six days after a national television program disclosed that the South Korean company used excess recycled rubber in its Tianjin factory that could cause bulges or even burst tires.

The company previously disputed the report as "inaccurate", but later changed its response and promised to recall faulty products, which will be the first-ever tire recall in China.
