Social development a priority

Party organizations and governments at all levels face the urgent and strategically important task of building a well-off society to establish long-term peace and stability in the country. The building of a well-off society is the main social and economic focus of the Party and the governments now, and will remain so in the near future. To achieve this, the authorities will have to deepen the reform and opening-up and expedite the transformation of the economic development model to promote innovation in social management, says an article in People's Daily.
