A man in the city of Dalian, Liaoning province fell victim to a scam this year, when a person he had met online got him to go along to look at a motorcycle, then drove off on the bike, and left him to argue with the dealer.

The unsuspecting man, surnamed Huang, had met the friend, Li, on the Internet. One day, Li asked him to go along and look at some new motorcycles, in the company of another man, Wang.
