Pang/tong leads charge

Led by the two-time world champion pair of Pang Qing and Tong Jian, the Chinese figure skaters are expected to provide a grand show for their fans on home ice at the ISU Figure Skating Grand Prix Final in Beijing next week.

Pang and Tong, and their young teammates Sui Wenjing and Han Cong, are expected to put on a strong performance against archrivals Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy from Germany.

During this Grand Prix season, Pang and Tong won the titles in Japan and China, while the German pair claimed gold at Skate America and in Paris.
