Witnesses needed to prove man's heroic action

By Shi Jing | China Daily | Updated: 2010-03-25 07:50

The Changping Civil Affairs Bureau on Wednesday said its staff members were working to obtain evidence that Zeng Qingxiang, a businessman from Jiangxi province, and a CCTV journalist, were assisting people in an overturned car when the pair were fatally struck on an expressway.

Zeng, 38, and the television reporter, Liu Wei, 33, were killed on March 9 as they reportedly attended to crash victims in a car that had overturned on the North Sixth Ring Road.

Another car hit them from behind. Zeng's grief-stricken father died several hours later that day.
