Good prognosis for medical center

WJ International Medical Center (WJIMC), the first international medical institution on Beijing's west side, opened within the General Hospital of the Armed Police Forces (GHAPF) on Monday, as testimony to the capital's growing number of foreign residents and tourists from overseas.
The project is in collaboration with Piyavate Ltd, a hospital from Thailand and the GHAPF, which has abundant experience in international programs, including efforts following the recent earthquake in Haiti.
The center will specialize in postoperative patient care, stem-cell treatments and traditional Chinese medicine as well as brain surgery, cardiovascular operations and surgery on the spinal cord, neck and bone fractures. The center comprises 25 single rooms, of which four will be VIP rooms. Each room will have a Western-style toilet and shower.
