Feyenoord sack Verbeek
ROTTERDAM: Feyenoord have sacked coach Gert Jan Verbeek after a disappointing first half of the season, the club said on Wednesday.
The 46-year-old coach joined the Rotterdam club in July 2008, after previous spells at Heracles Almelo and Heerenveen, but never got the team on track.
