Leaders agree to talks

Russian and Ukrainian leaders agreed yesterday to hold new talks on their energy war as European nations voiced growing anger over the crisis that has left them without natural gas supplies.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Russia was in danger of losing its credibility as an energy supplier because of the blocked supplies that have left millions in Europe without winter heating as well as closing factories and schools.
