The complex nature of the global financial crisis has created problems for China to frame or adjust its macro-economic policies, Premier Wen Jiabao has said.
Making the right decisions would be difficult if one were to only "rely on past experiences" or "the wisdom of a few", he said at meetings with top economists and entrepreneurs on Nov 20 and yesterday.
The two in-depth meetings were held at Zhongnanhai in Beijing to discuss the economic downturn and the government's macro-control measures. Subjects such as fiscal policy, finance, the corporate world, agriculture and real estate were also discussed.
