As one of the country's first providers of online business travel services, Intohotel is expected to help Chinese firms and governments cut down travel expenses and improve business travel management. Olympics online China Central Television Station (CCTV) reached an agreement yesterday with www.ku6.com to offer video services featuring the 2008 Beijing Olympics for Internet users. It is the first time that CCTV has authorized a commercial website to provide Internet-based Olympics video programs. Ku6.com is the exclusive partner with CCTV on Internet Olympics video service. Gold bars Beijing Luck Nation Gold Collection Company yesterday launched a set of gold bars to commemorate the first direct flight for tourists from the mainland to Taiwan on July 4. The set consists of two 25g gold bars and only 1,000 will be released. As a result of deals signed by the mainland's Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits and Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation, mainland tourists can visit Taiwan via chartered flights on weekends from July. Beer festival The 10th China International Beer Festival will be held from July 17 to 28 in Dalian, Liaoning province. More than 30 beer manufacturers will bring over 400 beer brands and 300 artistic performances to participate in the festival in the coastal city.
