Updated: 2008-07-03 07:34 Smutty student snapper A freshman at Hainan Normal University has been detained for taking candid photos of female students and posting them on the Internet, police said yesterday. The unnamed male student took 453 photos of women in a dormitory building opposite his own and then posted 287 of them on the Internet, Liao Xude an officer with the Haikou public security bureau said. A security official surnamed Li at the university in Hainan province told the Xinhua News Agency that the student "did it just for fun and had not expected such an impact."
