New bridge plan

Nanjing in East China's Jiangsu Province plans to build a new bridge across the Yangtze River, 2 km away from the existing 39-year-old bridge, to help ease the growing traffic burden there. Construction is expected to start by the end of 2008 and completed in 2011.
