New Cabinet unveiled

Morocco unveiled a five-party coalition government yesterday, changing the finance and foreign ministers but keeping the key interior and religious affairs ministers unchanged.

Former Industry Minister Salaheddine Mezouar was named finance chief and ex-deputy foreign minister Taieb Fassi Fihri was promoted to be the North African country's foreign minister.

El Fassi, whose conservative Istiqlal party became the first group in last month's parliamentary elections, was named prime minister on September 19, replacing Driss Jettou.
