Flighty foxes scared to death by construction
A fox farmer has been compensated for the loss of his animals after they were scared to death by sounds coming from a nearby highway construction site in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
The farmer, surnamed Xue, was given more than 100,000 yuan ($13,000) after 256 foxes died. Zhengzhou Erqi District People's Court ruled in favor of the plaintiff last week, after it was found the building work caused a fatal panic among the foxes.

Money no object, but Net junkie still addicted
A man surnamed Chen has spent more than 1.5 million yuan ($200,000) over the past three years in a failed attempt to cure his daughter of her addiction to surfing the Interent.
Chen, a construction company owner from from Wuhan in Hubei Province, has visited eight organizations and consulted more than 12 experts or doctors around the country to find a cure for his daughter's extreme penchant for playing with computers.
Chen's daughter, 14, started surfing the Internet aged 12 and once did so for two days without taking a break. She even quit school to play computer games at cyber cafes.
