New Australia routes

Australian airline Qantas will offer semi-weekly, non-stop flights between Melbourne and Shanghai from March.

The new service will use two-class Airbus A330 aircraft, which will depart Shanghai for Melbourne on Mondays and Fridays, and return from Melbourne to Shanghai on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From March 2008, Qantas will offer 10 flights a week to China - five between Sydney and Shanghai, three between Sydney and Beijing and the two new ones.

Traditional medicine

The Pacific Health Forum kicked off yesterday in Beijing.
