About the film  
On the last day of school, Mouth, a 15 year old teenager with a love for the game of basketball and his best friends Monkey and Jason run into Li Wei, the captain of the high school basketball team & his entourage. Li Wei continuously makes their lives a living hell and the results of their building conflict ends up taking all parties to the finals of annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Having to face the biggest bullies on the court; will the boys prevail and win back their pride?
 
  Production notes
The actors trained over 6 months over every weekend to execute over 200 basketball plays that would later be used in the film.
"SLAM" is the first basketball film in Asia.
To prepare themselves for their roles and the heavy basketball scenes, Zhang Yi Shan and Lin Xiao Fan attended a winter basketball training camp at Wang Fei Hoops.

Cast  
Lin Xiao Fan plays the role of Mouth, an introverted shy kid with a heart full of gold. Xiao Fan has acted in such roles as "Wo de Xiong Di Jie Mei" and has guest appeared on several other local TV series. Lin Xiao Fan is currently attending the acting programme at Beijing Film Academy. SLAM is Lin Xiao Fan's first feature film.
 
  Crew
Jonathan Lim graduated from both New York Film Academy & the Beijing Film Academy of China and has over 10 years experience in television and film. He is the founder of Crimson Forest Films, which produces several television shows broadcasted across China and Asia. Such shows include, the official "Made in NBA" weekly show as well as "Aussino, Home is where the Heart is".
