Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," "Cinderella" and "Beauty and the Beast" will be performed at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center from May 27 to June 1, the International Children's Day.

The classics will be presented by Disney Live!, staging later in Beijing and nine other cities around China before touring Asia.

"As our first production designed specifically for a Chinese audience, we have the opportunity to introduce thousands of children and their families to famous Disney cartoon characters in a very personal and memorable way," says Thomas Schumacher, president of Disney Theatrical Group.

Produced by Kenneth Feld and his daughter Alana Feld for Feld Entertainment, this collection of magically woven tales will delight everyone in the family.

The enchanted journey starts as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy embark on an unexpected adventure when they find a magical storybook hidden in a treasure trove of costumes and props from classic Disney tales.

The four pals curiously open the book to discover that these charmed objects lead them to three classic stories of happily-ever-after.

Along the way, the audience is invited to join in the fun by finding clues, solving riddles, clapping and singing songs as the stories unfold. The show - in Chinese - is about one and a half hour long. For more details, please check www.disneylive.com.cn.
