Pair swordsman with cocktails

For far too long, fencing has been the preserve of aristocrats and live action role playing gamers. Now, swordsmanship is being paired with cheap cocktails (RMB 38) and live music in a marketing effort which can only be described as overdue.

Extreme Bar is a small, otherwise unassuming venue in an otherwise non-descript corner of the city. There are drink specials every night of the week, with a weekend open bar (RMB 80) to complement the cover band. Further, we are happy to report bottles of Erdinger on sale for just RMB 40 – so even those who don't belong to the adjacent Extreme Fencing Club will enjoy this bar.

But with its gorgeous space and top of the line equipment, the question is: why don't you belong to the Extreme Fencing Club?
