Simply style

The latest addition to the Simply Thai family, The Bar, is exactly what we have come to expect from this established Shanghai brand.

Located on the second floor of the newly renovated Xintiandi branch, The Bar is an intimate, cozy locale, perfect for unwinding after a stressful day at work. Extending the restaurant's theme, the bar is an elegant and comfortable mix of Eastern style with Western seasonings.

Dim lighting is punctuated by tea light candles, and low unobtrusive music helps add to the soothing feel of the bar. For those drinking alone, large comfortable chairs off-set the low bar, and for those in groups, stylish lounge beds and eclectic chairs surround tables, making socializing a bit more accommodating.

With cocktails ranging from 40-55 yuan, beers starting at 30 yuan and a well-rounded wine selection, drinks for all palates are more than covered. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and need a place to relax or are simply already dining downstairs.
