I rock my pot

With ostrich meat, a self-serve/self-mix condiment bar and individual hot pots on each table, this restaurant will rock your hot pot world. The broth-the most important part of a good hot pot-is a mixture of traditional and Southeast Asian flavors such as tom yum goong, curry, and traditional Sichuan (range RMB 10-12).

Flamboyantly decorated with tall red chairs and silver curtains, I Rock My Pot is perfect for informal group gatherings. For vegetarians, the offerings range from sweet potatoes to coriander to shitake mushrooms (RMB 8-22). For carnivores, a must-try is the tender ostrich meat and the imported American beef (both RMB 38).

For the daring, the seafood mush (RMB 38) made with mashed octopus, shrimp and fish meat, and the fish balls (RMB 28), are a true delight. The condiment bar, equipped with close to 20 different sauces, allows guests to create their own unique dipping sauce. Service was prompt and very helpful.
