**Adopted from the masterpiece of playwright Tang Xianzu, in the late Ming dynasty, Kunqu opera The Peony Pavilion is a love epic. The latest play is the joint production of performers from Suzhou, Taipei and Hong Kong.

**For the Lantern Festival, a vocal concert is being held called Colorful Cloud Chasing the Moon. Solo singers Yang Hongji and Wang Xiufen will perform, plus the Beijing Voice of Spring Chorus, presenting such songs as Happy Havoc in the Lantern Festival, Colorful Cloud Chasing the Moon and Ode for Hometown.

**Shanghai Traditional Instrument Orchestra performs orchestral pieces, including Cantonese music, Chinese string and wind music and Chinese plucked string music. Established in 1952, the orchestra is one of the oldest ethnic orchestras in China. It consists of over 80 outstanding performers, including musical directors, soloists, and vocalists.
