Fill in the blank

Trendy Seoul fashions are readily available in any Beijing mall, but couture from Korea's higher-end designers-the ones who have gained recognition on the world stage-has until now eluded our city.

As one approaches Room No. 203, enchanting light refracted through the store's chandelier twinkles as if foretelling the magic within. Indeed, the attention to detail in this cozy palace is exquisite. The owners' intent is to showcase the work of about three designers at a time, and everything is handpicked: the officewear and party dresses (RMB 2,000-5,000), the handbags and clutches (starting at RMB 2,000) and accessories (RMB 1,000-2,500).

Shoppers be warned: If you see something you like, act decisively since every item is one-of-a-kind. Furthermore, stock will be renewed every ten days.

Room No. 203
