Whose home?

It's cleaner and tidier than our home is, but, similarly, 2nd Home, with its pictures of scantily clad girls and musicians, gives the feel of an adolescent's den–but without the angst and grunge.

Little seems to have changed from the venue's previous incumbents, Pilpil Pub, and, in fact, the old sign on the landing remains. Prices without the specials are not particularly good at 35 yuan for a large Carlsberg and ¥45 for spirits. Happy hour lasts until 11pm though, so it's not a terribly bad deal. The downstairs area is centered around the dark wood bar and offers a few red sofas to relax on. If you head upstairs, take advantage of the dart board and pool table.

Although this place is still a bit rough around the edges, it could well be one to invade with a group and make it your own for the night.
