While shopping is fun, it's also an energy consuming activity. It's great to shop non-stop from dawn to dusk, but shopaholics have to stop at least for one thing. They need to eat. To help shoppers refuel, here is a list of restaurants located inside some shopping areas in Shanghai, be it the chic stores swarming Jululu-Fuminlu, the offices dominated Zhangyanglu-Dongfanglu and the recreational Wuninglu-Xigong. Read on to check them out.

Shopping area one: Jululu-Fuminlu

Jululu is a quiet and elegant road that hosts a bunch of famous chic stores. It is the favorite place among fashion magazine editors. Stores such as Shaanxi Shoe Shop and Carry are warmly received among stylish shoppers.

*Homes

Occupying a three-storey townhouse, Homes features dishes made from secret recipes exclusively for Homes. The Shanghainese dishes are the best and are reasonably priced. Roasted fish is highly recommended for its delicious soup and slender meat. There are also nutritional items on the menu, such as thick soup shark’s fin hotpot, which contains chicken, wild bamboo fungus and a good amount of shark’s fin. You can also get many of the dishes on the menu in half portions.

Location: No.791 Jululu, Luwan District

*Guyi Xiangweinong

A spot frequented by many foreigners, Guyi Xiangweinong features innovative Hunan dishes. They are less spicy than traditional Hunan dishes, so this restaurant caters well to those who like to eat spicy food, but not too spicy. The best seller is duojiao yutou, fish head stewed together with duojiao, preserved vegetables marinated in a chili sauce. Make a reservation otherwise you won’t get a seat.
