Korean restaurant in Wudaokou(That's Beijing)
Updated: 2007-10-16 10:33
Hidden amidst dubious surroundings north of Wudaokou, this Korean-owned restaurant features stylishly simple decor and pleasant private rooms equipped with TV screens. The trilingual picture menu offers an extensive variety of Western-Korean fusion. Service is polite and prompt, and portion sizes aren’t compromised for the sake of presentation, as demonstrated by the beef carpaccio (RMB 35), a ring of tender cutlets surrounding a heap of mixed greens. Carnivores will love the hefty lamb chops (RMB 48) drizzled with a sweet, savory sauce, but the real crowd-pleaser is the creative pizza-fusion dish with seafood (RMB 55): perfectly soft rice-cake bars (ddukbokki) substitute for pizza crust, topped with a spicy tomato sauce, sumptuous cheese and seafood, all cooked in a pizza pan. It looks like a pizza but tastes even better – a fantastic fusion of Korean ingredients with Western tastes. Dessert menu and bar service coming soon and delivery available. Qing Grill and Bar |
