Get the party started

Don't let the odd, Chinglish-tinged named of this place throw you.

Yes, Club Children might sound more like a lame summer camp then a new club-and perhaps it is a bit difficult to find. But faith and a good sense of direction will be rewarded with stiff drinks (RMB 38) and better-than-expected house DJs who remix loads of English old-school dance with plenty of style. And though the club is small, the minimalist black and white interior, posh seating areas and the three-turntable DJ booth make an impressive display. Best of all, the state-of-the-art sound system and lack of silly floor shows prove that this is a serious dance spot.

As long as you can deal with the frantic laser-lights show, give Club Children a chance: enjoy a few of the well-priced cocktails and get the party started.
