Shanghai Binhai Forest Park

Though located in the suburbs, Shanghai Binhai Forest Park is worth the trip. It's a park where people can relax their eyes on the green forest without being interrupted by wandering dogs which are common in downtown parks.

The park boasts both dense forest and clear water. It has a special barbeque area, routes set out for cycling, golf driving range as well as a completely natural forest waiting for people to explore.

Tips for traveling in a forest park
1 Wear slip-resistant shoes because there might be water in the forest, and tight clothes to avoid being hooked by branches.
2 Carry food and beverages. Don't eat wild fruits or grass, which might be poisonous.
3 Bring a mobile phone with you, or simple alarm tools like a flashlight or a whistle. Take first-aid kit too.
4 Behave in accordance with rules set out by the park administration and don't hunt animals, start fires or litter.
