The newly opened A-Z Kids Family Entertainment Center features a Pacifico Bistro, Bar and Lounge, a Terrace BBQ, and a library cafe. But kids are the real winners, with a grand center of games, entertainment, and high-tech learning.

Children aged from 2 to 18 can enjoy themselves in computer-equipped classrooms, attend vocational lessons or engage in recreational activities.

For the parents, Pacifico provides contemporary European cuisine with a Pacific twist, new world wines from New Zealand, Australia, Argentina and Chile, as well as entertainment from the South Pacific islands.

The restaurant and bar has an indoor dining space of over 230 square meters with 5-meter tall French windows, augmented by one of the largest restaurant and bar terraces in Beijing, with more than 250 square meters of outdoor space.

Pacifico is operated by an experienced international team from Columbia, France, Holland, Australia, New Zealand and Britain.

The Terrace has gas-powered BBQ units, adjoining tables and chairs with umbrellas. The food features meat, salad and drinks. Families can cook their own BBQs, or a BBQ chef can do it for them.

The Library Cafe is where busy mums and dads can sit back and enjoy a cup of continental coffee, plus pastries, cakes, sandwiches, or muffins, prepared by an in-house French baker. There are modern magazines and publications, as well as Internet connection for email access, so that you can do something while your kids play or attend classes.

Opening hours: Noon-2:30 pm, 6-10 pm.
Address: 4/F Uptown Plaza Corner, northwest corner of the crossroad between Chaoyang Lu and Qingnian Lu, Chaoyang District.
Tel: 010-8559-2886 ext 879.
