Sultry summer drinks

Sultry summer drinksBars situated on the Bund are often synonymous with glamour, luxury and elegance and in this respect, Indigo does not disappoint.

While the interior doesn't have a hint of the hue of its namesake, it still has a certain charm of its own. Step outside and you will encounter a balcony with a view befitting of its position on the bund. Cocktails like the lychee martini (RMB 80), sweet, light and ideal for a summer's evening, are accompanied by more adventurous options like the kiwi-cucumber cocktail (RMB 75), which ventured away from the norm. The staff, though attentive, needed more knowledge when it came to the menu.

The highly billed "888" cocktail (RMB 888), was without explanation, and after enquiring, we were still left confused about what it actually entailed. Perfect For: those who think Indigo is more than just a color.
