Taolin Strawberry Garden

This garden is not as famous as the first one, but it is a quiet place and relaxing. The strawberries here are much cheaper than those sold in markets. It only costs 6 yuan per kilogram. You can also buy freshly-picked lettuce and Tonghao, a green vegetable.

Tips:

1) How to get there: Driving route: Take the Second Ring Road to -Deshengmen then the Badaling Expressway to the Sixth Ring Road. When you reach Ma Fang go to Litang Roadand then Daliushu Huandao

2) After strawberry picking, you can relax in the spa at Jiuhua Village.

Shanghai

Baihe Town, Zhaotun, Qingpu

In Shanghai, Baihe Town is the biggest strawberry-picking area. Boasting the cheapest, freshest and healthiest strawberries, this place is named as the "Hometown of Strawberries". The price for this fruit is about 12 yuan per kilogram. And you can bargain with the local sellers for further discounts.

Tips:

1) How to get there: Driving route: Take Yan'an Elevated Road toA9 Huqingping Expressway. Then take A30 Jiao Ring Road to Baihe Zhaotun Exit. Then when you reach Baishi Avenue you will arrive at Zhaotun Town

2) Be sure to arrive here before or after noon because the farmers will go home for lunch during this period.
