Ever been blown away by spicy Sichuan dishes and wondered how they are made? Now you have a place to go and find out.

Pixian county in Sichuan province, where the famous Pixian chili bean paste seasoning originated, recently opened China's first ever Sichuan cuisine-themed museum.

Visitors get to enjoy the authentic Sichuan food made by renowned chefs on site, and if they want, can show off their kitchen skills as well.

But the 12,000-square-meter museum is by no means a mere restaurant for craving taste-buds. It's also a rich collection of over 3,000 bronze, pottery, porcelain and wood cookers from across a time span of two thousand years. The exhibits, along with books presented for clarification, paint a vivid portrait of this unique cuisine's rich culture.
