Judy Too's new sister

(City weekend)
Updated: 2007-05-02 11:00

Judy Too's new sister Judy Q is a club-ish lounge space that has little in common with its former tenant, Pegasus–which is a compliment.

The setting provides for low-key, placid drinking sessions while listening to an eclectic music play list; the only theme on opening night seemed to be artists starting with the letter B (Bowie, Beyonce, Blink 182). The decor is simple with all the amenities one could expect from the people who brought us Judy's and The Spot-couches, flat-screen TVs, and a sunken bar that allows customers to sit comfortably while bartenders stand in the low-rise floor behind it. Cheap drinks (30-60yuan), a laid-back foreign and local mixed crowd and a dress code that could accommodate every odd kid in your high school, make this place work like a charm.

Perfect For: Tongren Lu partygoers who find themselves on Huaihai Lu on a Friday night.
